Recognizing how significantly hearing loss affects quality of life, The Lions Club of Plano and Family Audiology have join forces for Better Hearing Month. Together, with your assistance, they will be providing one person in the community with pair of premium hearing aids.

To submit an entry, simply write an essay of 400 words or less, describing why you or someone you know would benefit from a pair of hearing aids, but has not been able to obtain them due to their financial situation.

The winner will be selected based on the following criteria:

• ·Hearing need
• ·Financial need
• ·Opportunity to impact recipient’s life and the people with whom they interact.

The contest will run from Monday, April 2, 2012 until May 25, 2012.

The winner will be notified by Friday, June 15, 2012.
